I am reminded of a story that my mom has told my sister and myself countless times about when we were just babies. (She normally tells us this when she sees other babies doing things we never did as children or when she can totally relate)
Apparently my sister could never be separated from my mom, she always wanted to be held. She needed my mom’s attention 24 hours a day. I have no idea if this has anything to with the fact that she is the youngest, but my mom stresses the point that Carla lost it when she just turned her back to get a nappy.
I on the other hand could sit for hours minding my own business, play with my toys, peaceful and with no worries… so I’m told. I always pride myself in the fact that I never needed help and that given enough effort I could do anything.
I must admit, running your own business is no picnic! Neither Carla, Stephanie or myself could have started this business by ourselves, we needed each other. We also could not have done it without Jesus Christ. He is our Rock and foundation, whom we give all the Glory.
As we needed each other we also needed friends and random people, giving us advice on what TO do and of course what NOT to do. Many people selflessly gave of themselves and we would like to do the same.
